The Hollywood Ball is an amphitheater in the Los Angeles area of California. The 17,376-seat amphitheater is primarily designed for music performances and is built within a natural space in the Hollywood Hills, above which rises a Hollywood sign. The most famous hallmark of the amphitheater is the large acoustic conch that covered the stage from 1929 to 2003. The conch was replaced in 2004 in a similar structure.
